A research institute in Israel finalized an order for double-layer quartz photocatalytic reactors, after technical consultation and lab trial testing. The research team focuses on photocatalytic hydrogen production and organic pollutant degradation experiments and needed reliable jacketed quartz reactors for their laboratory.
 
The researcher reached out to us, explaining their requirements: high UV transmittance of the quartz body, circulating water jacket for precise temperature control, good sealing, compatible with magnetic stirring and UV light sources. During our dialogue, the customer shared previous troubles: ordinary glass reactors block UV light, while some low-quality quartz reactors have leakage issues at the jacket connection, ruining sensitive photocatalytic tests.
 
The technical team introduced our double-layer quartz reactor design. The main body uses UV-grade fused silica for high light transmission. The integrated jacket supports circulating coolant to keep stable reaction temperature. All joints adopt high-precision welding to avoid liquid leakage. We also offered optional accessories including stirring ports and sampling ports.
 
The customer purchased one prototype reactor for lab evaluation. They carried out a series of photocatalytic degradation experiments. The quartz wall maintained excellent UV transmittance, the jacket temperature control was stable, and no leakage occurred throughout the test period.
 
We then negotiated payment terms, production cycle, shipping method and CO certificate for customs clearance. After confirming all details, the institute placed an order for 8 sets of double-layer quartz reactors.
 
Once delivered, the reactors were put into daily lab work. The researcher reported consistent and repeatable experimental data. The two sides are discussing customized modified reactors for their next-phase research project.
